BAPTISMS
Baptisms are an important step on the Christian’s faith journey. Whether you are choosing to have your child or yourself baptized,
MCC would be overjoyed to play a part. Baptisms generally take place during our regular Sunday worship time. There are no fees for the sanctuary or the minister but the parent(s) and godparents (if there are any) are asked to meet briefly with the pastor prior to the service. WEDDINGS
Our spacious sanctuary, parlor and hall are all available to be rented for your big day. It is an affordable way to have your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in the same place.
Weddings are officiated by our pastor and based on the liturgy from the United Church of Christ’s Book of Worship. The couple and pastor meet for up to three per-marital counseling and planning sessions. Other clergy may share in the ceremony, at the request of the couple, by permission of the pastor. In such event, the fee for the pastor’s service should be the greater of the pastor’s fee or the fee provided to the visiting clergy. If you would like to have another clergyperson share in officiating the ceremony, MCC’s Pastor must also meet with them in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
