Longest Night Worship With Those Who Mourn

Not everyone is up for cheerfully going through the holiday excitement that this time of year beckons us to do. Dealing with trauma and loss, the death of a loved one, the loss of a “Best Friend” pet, facing life after divorce, losing a job, and living with cancer or other illnesses all add a heaviness to the holidays that make parties and joviality painful for many in our congregations and communities. Memorial Congregational Church will hold a service of worship on December 21st, the longest night of the year, at 6pm. This is is open to and will recognize people of all faith traditions and those with no faith tradition. Rev. Lee Atherton will create a sacred space for people who are feeling “Blue” to be held in acceptance, comfort, and support. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email Lee at Lee@CoachRev.com or call MCC at 978-443-388
