Ash Wednesday is a call for Christians to pause our busy lives, remember that we are created by God, and that we are mortal. It’s a time of public repentance for the ways in which our world is broken and a sign of the hope we see in the work and word revealed to us in Jesus Christ.
Gather in community to hear scripture, song and prayers exploring the flawed and mortal life we live as we seek ways to turn back to God. Ashes will be distributed.
