Youth & Families

At MCC we believe children bring their own joy and wisdom to our shared life, and we warmly welcome them in worship with all their wiggles, giggles, and curiosity. Families are encouraged to help kids follow along, sing, ask questions, and discover that they truly belong here.

We know every family has different needs on Sunday mornings, so children are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary or join our age-appropriate options, including nursery care for our youngest and Faith Exploration for older kids. However you choose to participate, we’re committed to creating safe, creative spaces where every child feels loved and valued.

Nursery

Birth – Age 3

Our nursery offers a warm, nurturing space for our youngest children from fifteen minutes before worship to fifteen minutes after. Whether your little one stays the whole service, needs a quick break, or prefers to snuggle close in the sanctuary, you are welcome to come and go as needed. Led each week by Marina He, the nursery provides gentle care so that families can worship in peace.

Sunday School

Pre-K – 8th Grade

All children begin in worship with their families before gathering for Faith Exploration, our hands-on Sunday morning program. After a children’s moment rooted in the day’s theme, kids and youth move into a time of exploration through story, art, science, service projects, cooking, games, and creative play. We focus not only on hearing Bible stories, but on placing them in their historical context, discovering how ancient words speak to our lives today, and helping each child grow their own understanding of faith.

Youth Group

Middle & High School

Our youth gather most Wednesdays from 5:30–7pm for games, conversations, and reflections shaped by the real questions young people carry. Together they explore what it means to be a beloved community, supporting one another through humor, honesty, and shared experience. Contact us for the most up-to-date schedule.
