Music is one of the ways we pray, celebrate, and remember who we are together. At MCC, our music ministry welcomes beginners and seasoned musicians alike, creating space for people of all ages to lift their voices, ring a bell, strum a chord, or simply savor the beauty that music brings to worship. Whether you love traditional hymns, contemporary songs, or the joyful energy of handbells, you’ll find a place to belong, grow, and make music in community.

The Senior Choir singing during a worship service

Open to adults and high school students who love to sing, the Senior Choir provides music for Sunday worship and special services throughout the year. No previous experience or music-reading ability is required — just a willing heart and a love of singing. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00–8:30 PM and again on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM before worship. Directed by Sam Long, the choir offers a welcoming space to connect with others and enrich our shared worship.

Teen boys singing and playing guitar

Covenant is a flexible ensemble of musicians of all ages, featuring guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals. The group provides contemporary Christian music in a rock/pop style for select worship services, concerts, and special events. While the core musicians remain steady, the band shifts its lineup to match the musical needs of each performance. If you enjoy modern worship music and want to play in a fun, collaborative setting, Covenant is a great place to jump in.

Bells and music arrayed on a table.

For more than five decades, the Sudbury Bellringers have shared the shimmering beauty of handbells and handchimes using five octaves of Whitechapel bells and three octaves of chimes. This mostly adult ensemble rehearses Tuesday evenings from 7:00–9:00 PM and plays regularly in worship, at the Wayside Inn, in community festivals, and by invitation throughout the area. New ringers are always welcome, and those who don’t yet read music will be supported as they learn. Directed by Diane Burke, the Bellringers offer a joyful, accessible way to make music and build community.
